The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will feature paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics and video art. "This exhibit presents works of art of diverse professional artists who carry artistic links to the culture of the Middle East, or have experienced multiculturalism through amalgamation of the Middle Eastern and Western cultures," according to Hashim Al-Tawil, exhibit curator and lecturer in Islamic art at UM-Dearborn. Museum of the Palestinian People

Two of Khoury's pieces are now on display as part of the permanent collection at the exciting new Museum of the Palestinian People in Washington DC. The museum has done a wonderful job of curating a nuanced story of the Palestinian experience, including its artists.

Pleasant. The showcase will take place June 1- 30 during gallery hours which are Monday – Friday; 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The artist reception will take place Thursday, June 7 at Art Reach on Broadway from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. Sari I Khoury, Professor, artist and Jerusalemite passed away in 1997. His work has been exhibited throughout the world.
